Advertisement number-01-Examination/2023 of Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission, Lucknow, Gram Panchayat Officer Main Examination-(P.A.P.-2022)/01 under the control of Panchayati Raj Department, U.P. for selection on a total of 1468 vacant posts of Gram Panchayat Officer Online applications are invited from citizens of India.
The shortlisting of the candidates for the Gram Panchayat Officer Main Examination- (PRA-2022)/01 will be done on the basis of their Preliminary Eligibility Test-2022 (Preliminary Eligibility Test- PET-2022) score, so only those candidates can apply online for participation in this examination. Can apply who have appeared in the Preliminary Eligibility Test- 2022 (PET-2022) and have been issued a score card (with valid numerical score) by the Commission. Candidates who obtain zero or less/negative marks in the Absolute Score or Normalized Score in the Preliminary Qualifying Examination-2022 will not be shortlisted for the Main Examination.
UPSSSC Gram Panchayat Adhikari Syllabus 2023 & Exam Pattern
If the number of applications received in response to the advertised posts is excessive and due to the large number of candidates shortlisted for the Main Examination on the basis of the score of the preliminary qualifying examination-2022 relative to the advertisement for the Commission, their written examination will be conducted in a single shift. If it is not convenient to conduct the said written examination in more than one shift/day, it may be conducted. If the examination is conducted in more than one shift/day, the process of normalization of scores will be applicable for comparative evaluation of the candidates.

Selection on the posts in question Uttar Pradesh Direct Recruitment (Manner and Procedure) Rules 2015 for the posts of Group-C, Dated May 11, 2015, Government of Uttar Pradesh, Notification No. 4/2017/1/1/2017 of Personnel Section-2 -Ka-2, dated- August 31, 2017, Uttar Pradesh Direct Recruitment on Lower Level Posts (Discontinuation of Interview) Rules, 2017 and Government Order No.-1103/47-Ka-3 of Uttar Pradesh Government Personnel Section-3 -2020-13/17/2020, dated 20-11-2020, according to the new application process and two-tier examination system (under which only the candidate who appeared in the Commission’s preliminary qualifying examination-2022 can apply for the main examination) has happened) and Uttar Pradesh Panchayat Sevak Service Rules, 1978 as amended Uttar Pradesh Gram Panchayat Officer Service (First Amendment) Rules, 1989 as amended Uttar Pradesh Gram Panchayat Officer Service (Second Amendment) Rules, 2016.
