Tamil Nadu Uniformed Service Recruitment Board (TNUSRB) has released the notification for the post of Sub Inspector of Police (TK), Sub Inspector of Police (AR), and Sub Inspector of Police (TSP). There is a total of 621 vacancies in this recruitment. The application opening date is 05-05-2023 and the closing date is 30-06-2023.
TNUSRB SI Syllabus 2023
The Written Examination for the selection of Sub-Inspectors of Police (Taluk, AR & TSP) will have two parts. Part I will be Tamil Language Eligibility Test Common for Open Quota and Departmental Quota Candidates. The Tamil Language Eligibility Test is qualifying in nature. It will consist of objective-type questions of 1 mark each. Regarding 20% of Departmental candidates, the Tamil Language Eligibility will be commonly conducted along with those applying in the open quota. The candidates who have applied under BOTH Open and Departmental categories will have to write the commonly conducted Tamil Language Eligibility Test only once.

Part I. Tamil Language Eligibility Test(Open Quota Candidates)
- தமிழ் மொழித் தகுதித் தேர்வு இயற்கையில் தகுதி பெறுகிறது.
- புறநிலை வகை தாள் 100 மதிப்பெண்களுக்கு 100 கேள்விகளைக் கொண்டிருக்கும் மற்றும் தேர்வின் காலம் 100 நிமிடங்கள் (1 மணி 40 நிமிடங்கள்.)
- திறந்தநிலை மற்றும் துறை சார்ந்த இரு பிரிவுகளின் கீழும் விண்ணப்பித்த விண்ணப்பதாரர்கள் பொதுவாக நடத்தப்படும் தமிழ் மொழித் தகுதித் தேர்வை ஒருமுறை மட்டுமே எழுத வேண்டும்.
- தமிழ் மொழித் தகுதித் தேர்வில் பெற்ற மதிப்பெண்கள் எந்த நிலையிலும் தற்காலிகத் தேர்வுப் பட்டியலைத் தயாரிக்கப் பரிசீலிக்கப்படாது.
- 20% துறை சார்ந்த விண்ணப்பதாரர்களைப் பொறுத்தவரை, திறந்த ஒதுக்கீட்டுக்கு விண்ணப்பிப்பவர்களுடன் தமிழ் மொழித் தகுதித் தேர்வு பொதுவாக நடத்தப்படும்.
- விண்ணப்பதாரர் தமிழ் மொழித் தகுதித் தேர்வில் குறைந்தபட்சம் 40 மதிப்பெண்கள் (40%) பெற்றிருக்க வேண்டும், அவர்/அவள் அவர்களின் முதன்மைத் தேர்வு OMR விடைத்தாள் மதிப்பீட்டிற்குத் தகுதி பெற வேண்டும்.
