SSC CGL Syllabus 2023 & Exam Pattern

There is a total of 2 tiers in this exam Tier 1 and Tier 2. Tier 1 has Objective Multiple Choice questions and the Exam mode will be computer based online. Tier 2 have three paper(Paper I, II, III). SSC CGL Tier 2 Paper I is mandatory for all posts paper II is for Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) post and paper III is for Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer post.

There is a total of 100 question with 200 marks each question will carry 02 marks with the negative marking of 1/2 marks. Subject wise SSC CGL Que and Marks details are given in the below table.

SSC CGL Syllabus For Data Entry Speed Test (DEST)

  • Data Entry Speed Test (DEST) for a duration of 15 minutes in Session II on the same day.
  • The “Data Entry Speed Test” (DEST) Skill Test will be conducted for a passage of about 2000 (two thousand) key depressions for a duration of 15 (fifteen) minutes.
  • Tax Assistant in CBIC, Tax Assistant in CBDT, and UDC/ SSA in Central Bureau of Narcotics (Ministry of Finance), higher qualifying standards will be set in comparison to other posts.
