How to Apply Online for UP Scholarship?
Follow the below given step to apply online for the UP Scholarship Online.
- STEP 1: Go to the official website of UP Scholarship @scholarship.up.gov.in
- STEP 2: Go to the “Student” section.
- STEP 3: Click on the registration button.
- STEP 4: Select your category and (fresh/renewal registration).
- STEP 5: After filling all the details click on submit button.
- STEP 6: Complete your registration ang get your login details.
- STEP 7: Again visit the UP Scholarship official website.
- STEP 8: Click on the Login button.
- STEP 9: Select your category and click on the login button.
- STEP 10: Enter your all the login details and click on the “Submit” button.
- STEP 11: A new page will open. click on “Fill scholarship Application form” option.
- STEP 12: Fill all the required details and click on the “Submit” button.
- STEP 13: Upload your photo.
- STEP 14: Upload Income Certificate.
- STEP 15: Upload Caste Certificate.
- STEP 16: Upload Address Certificate.

Registration:
Go to the official website of UP [email protected]. Visit the student section and click on the student button which is given on the right top of the header. After clicking on the “Student” button click on the “Registration link”. After clicking on the registration button a page for the registration will open. Check all the details carefully and complete the registration process.
Aadhaar Verification:
After Completing all the process like registration and application form go to the login section. Enter all the required details and click on the login button. After successfully login there will be a option for the UP Scholarship Aadhar Verification. Click on the Aadhar Authentication link. Follow the the given step for the Aadhar verification. Enter all the required details and click on the verification button.
Aadhaar Verification Problem:
If you are facing problem in doing Aadhaar Verification then please try for a few days. Because sometimes the website remains down because of the server. Please check your Aadhaar linked number for Aadhaar verification. In case of any further issues, please contact the UP Scholarship helpline given below.
Form Submission:
If you want to submit your UP Scholarship form or submit the final form, please check and check all the filled details carefully. Please Note: Please get all the filled details verified once by your college before final submission after that make final submission.
Verification From Institution:
When you submit your UP scholarship form final and after that, it has to be submitted to the college. Your UP scholarship form is verified by your college after you submit it to the college. If all the details filled by you are correct then it is verified by your college. If any error or any detail is found wrong in it, then it is hold. If everything is correct then it is sent by your college or school for further processing
Scrutiny:
After the UP scholarship form is verified by the college or school, it is re-verified by the UP Scholarship Board. After that it is sent to the District Welfare Committee.
Verification from District Welfare Committee:
After the scrutiny of the UP scholarship form, all your details such as income, income, caste, residence certificate, etc. are re-checked by the District Welfare Committee. UP scholarship will be given to you only if all the details are correct.
Aadhaar based fund distribution:
After all the steps are completed and all the details are correct, you have received funds on your Aadhaar based.

छात्र क्या करें
- छात्रों हेतु आनलाइन आवेदन पत्र भरने से पूर्व अपने शैक्षिक योग्यता के अंकपत्र/ प्रमाण पत्र, जाति/ आय निवास प्रमाण पत्र (आनलाइन जारी), पाठ्यक्रम की अनिवार्य वार्षिक नान रिफण्डेबिल शुल्क धनराशि, वर्तमान विश्वविद्यालय/बोर्ड का अपना पंजीयन क्रमांक ( प्रथम वर्ष को छोड़कर), आधार नम्बर, अपना पासपोर्ट साइज का फोटो आदि अभिलेख होना आवश्यक ।
- हाई स्कूल अंक पत्र एवं प्रमाण-पत्र में अंकित नाम, पिता का नाम, लिंग एवं जन्म तिथि का उसी तरह आधार कार्ड में भी अंकन होना आवश्यक ।
- आधार नम्बर का जनसांख्यिकीय प्रमाणीकरण (Demographic Authentication) (आधार नम्बर, नाम एवं जन्म तिथि का मिलान) तथा आधार लिंक मोबाइल नम्बर पर प्राप्त ओ०टी०पी० को अकित करने के बाद ही छात्र अपने आवेदन पत्र को आनलाइन टेम्परेरी लाक कर सकेगा।
- आधार नम्बर से लिंक बैंक खाता एवं एन०पी०सी०आई० में सीडिंग अनिवार्य है। इस कार्य को सम्बन्धित बैंक शाखा से अनिवार्य रूप से करायें अन्यथा की स्थिति में ट्रांजेक्शन फेल होने की सम्भावना रहेगी। वित्तीय वर्ष 2022-23 में छात्रवृत्ति का भुगतान आधार नम्बर से जुड़े बैंक खाते में ही होगा।
- अपना आधार लिंक बचत बैंक खाता (बैंक खाते में लिंकिंग एवं एन०पी०सी०आई० में सीडिंग के साथ) संचालित रखें, न्यूनतम बैलेन्स बनाये रखें एवं खाते में धनराशि आने की अधिकतम लिमिट न लगी हो तथा हर 03 माह में बैंक खाते में ट्रांजेक्शन अवश्य करें।
- आधार लिंक बचत बैंक खाते को भलीभांति जांच लें। बिना आधार सीडेड खाता संख्या (बैंक खाते में लिंकिंग एवं एन०पी०सी०आई० में सीडिंग के साथ) भरने पर पी०एफ०एम०एस० के माध्यम से छात्र का आवेदन रिजेक्ट हो जायेगा। नवीनीकरण के छात्र / छात्रायें जिनका आधार एवं ओटीपी प्रमाणीकरण एक बार हो चुका है, उसे पाठ्यक्रम की समाप्ति तक पुनः आधार प्रमाणीकरण की आवश्यकता नहीं है।
- छात्र अपना आवेदन आनलाइन करने के पश्चात एवं टेम्परेरी लाक करने से पूर्व अपना सम्पूर्ण विवरण यथा- हाईस्कूल / इण्टरमीडिएट का रोल नम्बर, जाति/ आय प्रमाण-पत्र का कमांक एवं आवेदन का क्रमांक, छात्र द्वारा गत परीक्षा में प्राप्त अंकों का विवरण, वर्तमान पाठ्यक्रम में प्रवेश लेने की न्यूनतम योग्यता, पाठ्यक्रम एवं पाठ्यक्रम का प्रकार, आय प्रमाण-पत्र में अंकित आय, अनुमोदित वार्षिक शुल्क की धनराशि आवेदन पत्र में अंकित की गयी कैटेगरी (अनुसूचित जाति, अनुसूचित जनजाति सामान्य वर्ग, पिछडा वर्ग, अल्पसंख्यक वर्ग) आदि का किया गया अंकन सावधानीपूर्वक जांच लें।
- सभा छात्र अपना आवेदन पत्र स्वयं भरें। आनलाइन आवेदन पत्र के लिये पासवर्ड स्वयं सृजित करें। छात्र यदि साइबर कैफे / संस्था से आवेदन कर रहे है तो अपने सामने ही सभी प्रविष्टियों को आवेदन पत्र में मरवायें एवं जांच का प्रिन्ट लेकर स्वयं समस्त प्रविष्टियों की जांच कर लें तथा यदि कोई त्रुटि है तो उसको सुधार करने के उपरान्त ही आवेदन पत्र को आनलाइन सब्मिट करें।
- आवेदन पत्र सब्मिट करने के उपरान्त तीन दिन बाद संस्था हेतु फाइनल प्रिन्ट ले सकेंगे, यदि आवेदन पत्र में जाति/ आय/ निवास प्रमाण-पत्र क्रमांक एवं आवेदन क्रमांक आय तथा हाईस्कूल/ इण्टरमीडिएट के रोल नम्बर में कोई त्रुटि होगी तो उसे इन तीन दिनों में आपकी लागिन पर प्रदर्शित किया जायेगा। सही करने के उपरान्त (हाईस्कूल रोल नम्बर को छोड़कर) ही आवेदन पत्र शिक्षण संस्थान को समिट (Submit) करने हेतु फाइनल प्रिन्ट लें एवं संस्थान से आवेदन पत्र जमा करने की पावती अवश्य लें।
- अनिवार्य वार्षिक शुल्क (Non Refundable fees) के कालम में शिक्षण संस्थान से जानकारी करने के बाद ही वास्तविक फीस की धनराशि ही अंकित करें।
- छात्र प्रथम वर्ष में धनराशि न मिलने पर भी पूर्व आवेदन पत्र का अगली कक्षा में नवीनीकरण ही करें, न कि नहीन आवेदन पत्र भरे। छात्रों को नवीनीकरण हेतु आवेदन पत्र की कुछ अनिवार्य प्रविष्टियों को ही भरना है, जिसमें विगत परीक्षा के प्राप्तांक, पूर्णांक तथा वर्तमान विश्वविद्यालय/ बोर्ड का अपना पंजीयन क्रमांक भरना होगा। नवीनीकरण हेतु पात्र छात्र आवेदन पत्र में विगत कक्षा के पूर्णांक/ प्राप्ताक को सही भरें क्योंकि अंकों का मिलान विश्वविद्यालय/ एफिलियेटिंग एजेंसी द्वारा अपलोड किये गये परीक्षाफल से किया जायेगा।
- सभी निजी क्षेत्र के संस्थानों में पाठ्यक्रम का प्रकार स्ववित्त पोषित ही रहेगा। शासकीय (GOVT) एवं शासकीय सहायता प्राप्त (AIDED) संस्थानों में पाठ्यक्रम, पाठ्यक्रम के प्रकार (नियमित (Regular) / स्ववित्त पोषित (SELF FINANCE) व उसके वर्ष का अंकन सही सही ध्यानपूर्वक करें।
- छात्र/छात्रायें स्वयं का ई-मेल आई०डी० व आधार नम्बर से लिंक स्वयं का मोबाइल नम्बर ही दें।
- वर्तमान सत्र हेतु प्रचलित नियमावली समय सारिणी प्रदर्शित सूचनायें एवं अन्य विस्तृत जानकारी हेतु https://scholarship.up.gov.in पर समय-समय पर सर्च करें एवं वेबसाइट पर निरन्तर प्रदर्शित हो रहे आवश्यक निर्देशों का भली-भांति पालन करें एवं समय-सारिणी में दी गयी समयावधि का उल्लंघन कदापि न करें।
- नवीनीकरण के छात्र अपने आवेदन पत्र में पास (Pass)/ प्रोन्नत (Promoted with marks) के साथ अपने सही प्राप्तांक ही भरें। परीक्षा परिणाम न निकलने की दशा में रिजल्ट नाट यट डिक्लेयर्ड (Result Not yet Declared) के आप्शन के साथ आवेदन कर सकते है, लेकिन संदेहास्पद डाटा को सही करने की समयावधि में परीक्षा परिणाम न निकलने अथवा छात्र द्वारा आवेदन पत्र में परीक्षा परिणाम भरकर संस्थान से पुनः अग्रसारित न कराने की दशा में छात्र का डाटा रिजेक्ट माना जाएगा।
- छात्र अपने आवेदन की स्थिति अपने लागिन एवं पासवर्ड के माध्यम से स्वयं देख सकते हैं। छात्रवृत्ति आवेदन संस्था द्वारा अग्रसारित करने / रिजेक्ट होने पर छात्र के मोबाइल पर एस०एम०एस० भी जायेगा। संस्थान द्वारा आवदन पत्र निर्धारित समयावधि में अग्रसारित होना आवश्यक है।
छात्र क्या न करें
- शिक्षण संस्था में जमा करने के लिये आवेदन पत्र किसी अन्य व्यक्ति को न सौंपे शिक्षण संस्थान में स्वयं जमा 1 करें एवं पावती रसीद अवश्य प्राप्त कर लें।
- अपने व्यक्तिगत विवरण / अभिलेख यथा- आधार नम्बर, हाईस्कूल का अनुक्रमांक व बैंक खाता संख्या तथा आवेदन हेतु सृजित पासवर्ड एवं अन्य कोई भी डाटा अथवा अभिलेख किसी से भी साझा (Share) न करें।
- आवेदन पत्र भरने की अन्तिम तिथि का इन्तजार न करें।
- अनुत्तीर्ण (Fail) छात्र किसी भी दशा में छात्रवृत्ति हेतु आवेदन न करें।
- शिक्षण संस्थान में जमा करने हेतु आवेदन पत्र का फाइनल प्रिन्ट आउट बिना निकाले आवेदन पत्र भरा हुआ नहीं माना जायेगा। समय-सारिणी में निर्धारित समयावधि में संशोधन करने के उपरान्त भी संस्थान में जमा करने हेतु संशोधित फाइनल प्रिन्ट निकाल कर संस्था में जमा करने एवं संस्था द्वारा अग्रसारित करने के उपरान्त ही संशोधित आवेदन पत्र मान्य होगा।
- छात्र/छात्रा द्वारा आवेदन पत्र में त्रुटिपूर्ण/ अपूर्ण/ गलत प्रविष्टियां भरने पर पूर्ण उत्तरदायित्व छात्र / छात्रा का ही होगा एवं आवेदन पत्र निरस्त हो जायेगा तथा छात्रवृत्ति अनुमान्य नहीं होगी। यदि छात्र/ छात्रा द्वारा आवेदन करते समय किसी अन्य छात्र/ छात्रा का आधार नम्बर हाई स्कूल रोल नम्बर, बैंक खाता, आय एवं जाति प्रमाण-पत्र तथा कोई अन्य अभिलेख प्रयोग किया हुआ पाया जाता है तो छात्र एवं संस्था के विरुद्ध नियमानुसार दण्डात्मक कार्यवाही करते हुए आवेदन निरस्त कर दिया जायेगा।
- यदि छात्र का डाटा सन्देहास्पद श्रेणी में आ जाता है तो सन्देह के कारण का उत्तर साक्ष्यों सहित अपनी संस्था के माध्यम से आनलाइन देना होगा। जनपद स्तरीय अधिकारियों (जिला समाज कल्याण अधिकारी / जिला पिछड़ा वर्ग कल्याण अधिकारी / जिला अल्पसंख्यक कल्याण अधिकारी) को संस्थान के माध्यम से छात्रवृत्ति वेबसाइट पर प्रदर्शित निर्धारित समयावधि में आनलाइन उपलब्ध न कराये जाने पर अथवा दिये गये उत्तर / अभिलेखों से छात्र के सही होने के दावे की पुष्टि नहीं होने पर जनपदीय अधिकारियों द्वारा जनपदीय छात्रवृत्ति स्वीकृति समिति से निर्णय प्राप्त करते हुये डाटा डिजिटल हस्ताक्षर से अस्वीकृत (REJECT) कर दिया जायेगा।
